Hey all,
It's time to check in with you to update you on what's new with Heaven's Basement!
SONISPHERE / SUMMER FESTIVALS...
First of all we're delighted to announce that we'll be playing the Bohemia stage at Sonisphere Knebworth this summer! We'll be appearing on Saturday 31st (Headlined by Iron Maiden) We had an amazing time playing the Jager stage last year so we can't wait to smash it up again this summer on a bigger stage!
Sonisphere spokesperson says:"Having rocked the JAGERMEISTER STAGE so hard at last year’s SONISPHERE, it would seem criminal for all in attendance this year to have to miss out, so it’s with great excitement we confirm the return of UK rockers HEAVEN’S BASEMENT to KNEBWORTH. In the past 12 months, HEAVEN’S BASEMENT have toured with the likes of Buckcherry, Shinedown, Papa Roach, Theory Of A Deadman and Dear Superstar, securing their place as a leading force in the UK rock scene. Don’t miss this awesome act as they make their way through future classics such as “Can’t Let Go”, “Executioner’s Day” and “Tear Your Heart Out”.
Drummer CHRIS RIVERS says, “We can’t wait to get back to Sonisphere this year, the last time we played the Jager stage it was insane in everyway, great crowd, sun, plenty of alcohol and loud rock n’ roll! This year will be even better cos we’ll get the chance to kick the shit out of the Bohemia stage! See you all at Knebworth!”

SINGER UPDATE!
We're guessing you may all wondering what the latest is with our singer situation! We've already started holding auditions for the new singer a week ago, we're really pleased with how its going and this month will be filled with more auditions. We're still getting guys emailing us wanting to audition so we'll be leaving the door open for a while yet, you know us guys wouldn't settle for anything other than the best guy for the job and we know you wouldn't either!!
We've also been spending a lot of time jamming on new songs, we've got a lot of new stuff coming your way in the next few months in our live set and hopefully we'll get some recorded too!
That's it for now,
See you all soon!

First week tour update
Hi All!
How's it going ?! today is our first proper day off on the tour so thought I'd update you all on how the tours going!! We kicked off exactly one week ago, as you all know Johnny Fallen is singing for us at the moment, he's doing a sick job!! Each gig seems to be getting better and better! Last night in Bristol was one of funnest shows we've played! We'll really excited for the rest of the dates and look forward to seeing any of you that have not yet seen us! We've been playing a brand new song called ' Sorry ' in the set and we're hoping on adding a few more songs over the coming dates (as Johnny gets to know more of our material!)
We've had a fantastic response from singers over the past week or so who are interested in the full time position, we've not yet had the chance to go through them all but we'll be onto it as soon as we have the time to listen to everyone properly!!
So the Heaven's Basement/Dear Superstar/The Crave tour is on a 2 day rest until Nottingham this Friday (we haven't played Nottingham since the Papa Roach / Buckcherry shows so we can't wait for this one!). For anyone whos in Liverpool tomorrow night (4th) makesure you go and check out The Crave playing at Korova and get CJ a birthday drink!
Right, its time to go eat, Thanks to all of your amazing support for the last few weeks and esp for making Johnny feel so welcome, it really means a lot to us! It feels great to be back onstage doing our thing!!
Onwards!

NEW UK TOUR ANNOUNCED!
Richie Hevanz
February 22nd
Hi guys, writing stuff like this is never easy so we'll just come right out with it.
Unfortunately, Richie has decided to leave Heaven's Basement. This will probably come as a surprise to most of you (as it did us) but to be honest we've seen signs in Richie over the last few months that suggested there was something wrong. He first told us about how he felt when we regrouped for some writing sessions in the studio last month. Richie was upfront with us all about his doubts in continuing. He feels he can no longer keep up with everything that goes along with being part of Heaven's Basement. He's written a message for you all, so here it is.
"After 18 months of amazing highs and amazing experiences, i feel that the lifestyle and constant touring has taken its toll and its time for me to move on to different pastures! In short guys, i'm afraid i will be stepping down as the lead singer of Heaven's Basement.
I want to thank everyone who has supported me through this amazing time in my life. I also want to thank my brothers in HB for their understanding and friendship! I would like to thank all the fans of Heavens Basement for all their love and support over the last 2 years! You've all made my life a brighter place!
I wish the guys all the luck in the world for their future.
Love ya!!"
It goes without saying that we'll miss him, Richie will always be an important part of the band's history as one of the founding members. It's not even two years yet since the first Heaven's Basement show but during that time we've had some amazing times together which we'll never forget. We've all become great friends over the past few years and he was a very important part of what makes the band chemistry work. We wish him all the best for the future, we're sure he will go on to do well in what ever path he chooses.
I guess you will all be wondering about what we're going to do about the upcoming tour dates we have. While we initially thought that Richie would come out and play these tours with us until we found ourselves a new frontman, that's not going to be the case anymore. As you know, we're not the kind of guys to let a small thing like not having a singer get in the way, so we're happy to say that they will all be going ahead as planned! Us guys thrive of being on the road, it's what HB is about. We pride ourselves on being a live band. We've been through our fair share of sticky situations in the past and always managed to pull through, obviously losing your singer a couple of weeks before a two month tour is a new thing for us but if there's a way to make it work, we'll find that way. We're lucky to have met and played alongside some great musicians over the past few years which have fused some great friendships, this has led to our saviour for these dates, our good friend Johnny Fallen. Johnny's been working hard with us for the past few days on our set, he's doing a great job at learning the stuff at such sort notice. Learning an hour long headline set in a week is no easy task! Lucky for us his own band theFALLEN have a break in their schedule so he's able to stand in for us on the upcoming dates. Massive thanks to all the guys in his band....we're very grateful for this and we owe ya's one!!
Johnny’s really excited about coming out on tour. We've told him all good stuff about you guys and we know you will all give him a warm welcome when he takes to the stage with us!
Aside from all this, the search is now on for our future full time singer. Obviously we're keen to get someone in as soon as we can, as we already have a lot more tours and festivals booked and this year will be our busiest yet. We're lining up auditions as soon as we return from the Theory Of A Deadman tour. Anyone interested should email us at info@heavensbasement.com with the subject title "singer", some samples of them singing (either a myspace link or attachment), photos and a bio that covers basic info such as age, location etc..
So, as clichéd as it is, a new chapter begins in our history, one thing you all should know is that us four guys are as fired up as ever, we know people naturally become concerned whenever a band loses a member but we're not going anywhere! We're so glad that we're able to keep on the road despite this situation and we have no doubt that we'll look back on this in the future as another obstacle that we turned into a positive!
Anyway, its time for us to get back in the rehearsal room with Johnny! We hope you lot have all got our lyrics down to give him a hand over the coming weeks if he needs it! ;)
We'll see you on tour!

October 31st - Halloween in Lahti, Finland
Greetings from fuckin ....Finland.... on this our last day of what’s been the craziest tour we’ve ever done!!! A tour that’s involved so much alcohol and lack of sleep that we’re all about to die!!! ....
We arrived in ....Helsinki.... on Tuesday night and were taken immediately to the club we were playing by Jukka our finish tour manager! The van we were picked up in was loaded with beers and a finish spirits and since then its all been a bit of a blur!! ....
All I can say is the gigs have been rockin, the finish crowds have been excellent and we’ve had a great time!! ....
A highlight was being able to take a quick trip by ferry across the water to ....Estonia.... and play for our fans there. We were really surprised at the amount of people that turned up and would like to say a personal thank you to everyone there for making it a special night.....
Unfortunately for yours truly that was about all my body could take! The lack of sleep and too much partying enforced my body to rebel and I woke up on Friday with no voice!! Again!!....
This left us with 2 options. Cancel the rest of the tour, or ROCK HARDER haha!! ....
We went with the latter and for those of you who made down to the Lahti show, you got to witness Heavens Basement for the first time as a four piece with Jonny and Sid taking over lead singing duties and myself being reduced to Chief water getter!! That’ll teach me!! They did a great job though!....
So tonight we play our last show and then we return as shadows of our former selves to the ....UK...., to recover, recharge and then tear ..Rugby.. to pieces next Sat!....
On behalf of myself and the guys I would like to thank Jukka and Mamma Pia for looking after us so well and to everyone in ....Finland....…….We’ll see you in April mother fuckers!!!! ( Ironically as I’m writing this Jukka has just come into the computer room with a bottle of Estonian vodka for me to drink! Aaaaaarghh!)....

October 7th- Sids house, on route to Nottingham
So last night was the first night of the PAPA ROACH uk shows in Wolverhampton, it rocked like FUCK!! the crowd was ace!
It was a bit of a typical first gig of a tour for us, we had the same monitor settings from the show in Tilburg and we didn't have much time to soundcheck so the on stage sound was pretty horrific, but fuck it, having a good on stage sound is just a bonus !!
My right inear headphone fell out during our new song ' The long goodbye' so my hearing in that ear is slightly fucked today..I didn't realizehow loud I have my monitors on stage..almost blew my head off!
Papa Roach rocked as always!! We really looking forward to tonight's show, Rock City is one of our fav venues..!!
We have a nice new van for this UK leg of the tour, their is 9 of us in total now on the road, we have 2 new additions to our crew for this tour, steve the soundman and sean the tech.
Day off in Manchester tomorrow so no doubt we will be out and about for a drink or 10!!:)
see ya all soon!

October 1st, Tilburg - Holland
What's up mother fuckers!!!! How American was that? Considering we're surrounded by our colonial cousins today I thought it was appropriate!!!
So where are we? Well after a long, hard, but amazingly good fun tour with DAD, which included people getting arrested, damaging public property, ridiculously expensive curry's and more beer than you can shake a stick at we've managed to drag our tired starving asses to Holland to hook up with Papa Roach!!!
On behalf of myself and the guys we just want to give a massive shout out to DAD. They were the most stupidly nice and accommodating band we've ever played with. As was their crew. They rocked like mother fuckers every night and it was a pleasure to play with them. It was a sad night when we parted company but I'm sure we'll hook up again further down the line so until then....Adieu!!
We're looking forward to the gig tonight! It was nice to see the Papa Roach guys again today. I spoke to Jacoby before sound check and he said how much he was looking forward to coming to the U.K. So for everyone coming to the show, look out! From what I can hear down here they're on top form!!
So we have this one show, then a well earned few days off to get our shit together and then we're back on our home soil and fully plan on destroying everywhere we go!! We can't fucking wait!! So our message to you all is brace yourselves! We have an all new HB coming back from the continent and in the immortal words of Scott le Rock our stage manager, “ This shit is gonna shred!!!”
See ya in a few days!!!
8pm, September 24th, Karlsruhe
Alright everyone,
Hows it going ? Just wanted to give yall a quick update on the tour!! we are waiting to hit the stage in Karlsruhe in about one hour, just had dinner and a nice hot shower so all is good!! The sound guy for tonights show doesn't like us too much because there is a 96db limit to the volume which is fucking lame!!..my snare drum along smashes the hell out of that so I think hes going to freak out tonight haha!!
We had a day off in Frankfurt yesterday..we went out on the town the night before with a few of the DaD guys and didnt get back to the hotel until about 7am.....it was a Heaven's Basement night 'where the wheels came off'!! So yesterday was very mellow, we went for a walk around the city then went for a curry!! Currys in Germany are nice but not a patch on English curries!!....On the subject of food, tour catering is Fucking bad arse!! its probably the best we have ever ate onstage ,
right, time to get my arse in gear and get ready for show...laterz!!
..we miss you all back in the UK, we cant fucking wait to tear it up on the papa roach UK dates!!

5pm, Monday 21st September. Frankfurt
Hey guys!....and girls! How's it going? All is good here in Frankfurt, we're just chilling out backstage at the moment trying to shake off our hangovers before the show tonight. Last night was pretty cool, the show in Ludwigsburg was great and after the show we headed into town with a few of the guys from DAD for some drinks. Needless to say it ended like it usually does with a visit from the police and some Kool and the gang! Can't wait for the show later, the venue is cool so hopefully there'll be a good crowd. The whole tour has been awesome so far and Rob has been a legend on the bass.....thank fuck we found him we'd have been proper up shit alley if we hadn't........also we should have a few new songs soon which we'll upload for you when we get the mixes back!
Think sid is working on a new video tour diary too so keep your eyes peeled for that.........will update again when my brain is fully functional.
Hope you're all good. speak to you soon
Jonny p.s. Man U were fuckin lucky yesterday. Torres is class. over and out x
September 18th Bochum Zeche
Greetings from Bochum, Germany, all friends of Heavens Basement!
We are currently on our third date of the D.A.D and so far all systems are a go and everything is going swimmingly! The van that has been hired is operating as it should and shows no sign of dying or breaking down, unlike our driver Alex, and we have successfully managed to complete the first 2 shows without any major disaster and are looking forward to the show tonight! So, it looks like we could be back on track! Famous last words eh?
Although it wouldn't be a HB tour without some sort of hiccup which came on the first day of travelling before we even left England! Yes, fully equiped with a stage manager and tour manager, and having packed the van and got everything in order the night before we were due to depart, we somehow still managed to miss our ferry! This meant having to book ourselves on the next one! This is like I said, no major disaster but still raises the eyebrow of concern! What a bunch of tits!
Anyway, like I said so far the tour is going great and everyone's having a good time! The guys from D.A.D, both crew and band couldn't be more welcoming! Neither could the German police who pulled us over on the way to the gig yesterday (Its OK, they found nothing! Tee! Hee!) and were kind enough to pose for a picture! The German crowds as usual are fucking excellent and we're enjoying being back out on the road where we belong! After the last few weeks its a breath of fresh air and I think we can safely say the ghost of Christmas past is slowly being exorcised! Its all good again!
I also want to give a shout out to new Rob, who's standing in on bass for us out here! Without a single rehearsal he was thrown in at the deep end on Wednesday and was fucking excellent! He made not a single mistake and so far is rockin like a bastard so feel free to drop him any messages to congratulate him!
Anyway, its just about time for sound check so until we meet again,
You stay classy HB Fans!!!
Richie
**European / Papa Roach tour diary Sep / Oct 2009**
Hey all,
How's it going? Just decided now is the time to start our Euro tour diary for the next month of solid touring we have!!
Good news is we have a new bass player for the Germany tour at the very least! He's called Rob, comes from Darlington and has done a kickarse job in learning our set over the past few days. He came into the rehearsal room and nailed Tear Your heart out, Executioners Day and Misunderstand right away, so cheers to him! He will be thrown in the deep end on Wednesday night in Koln but we have no doubt he will kick arse :)! As I mentioned in the blog before this, we are going to take our time in deciding who is the guy for the long term job, its not something we are not too concerned about at the moment.
So now we are waiting on our tour manager/babysitter Alex to arrive and pick us up then we will be off to get a big ship to France, drive to Koln, find a nice Bar to taste some local beers then rip the fucking face off Koln on Wednesday night..
We have felt like a trapped animal over the past few days with us having to cancel the southwest dates, taking gigs away from us guys is like stealing toys from a baby so we are defiantly ready to unleash some built up energy on this tour..
By the way, we are working on rescheduling the southwest dates so we will keep ya posted!!
..alright then, time to find our passports and do one, see yas soon!

Feb 21st - Just come off stage in Bochum
Tonights show was fucking ace, we had a great time it was wild as fuck, EVERYTHING that can go wrong 'technically' in a show went wrong, such as snare drums breaking, amps breaking, guitars breaking and leads breaking haha!! I wouldn't have been surprised if a fucking plane crashed on stage or a JCB tractor decided to roll on and destroy the stage at some point, it was one of those nights BUT we cracked on and all had a great time, probably our fav night of the tour so far!! great crowd too!! the set ran great (we managed to 'fix' things mid song)
....Oh yeah, Rob Randell set the fire alarm off in the building about 5 mins before Thunder came on stage (we found that quite funny)
Thunder are on stage right now and sounding great!! Not sure the plan for tonight, we might stick around for a while I think then move onto the next show at some point..
anyway, thats all for now.
(2.1 to the reds - good shit)

Feb 21st - Backstage at Matrix, Bochum
The last few days have been some of the best I can remember. Berlin is now one of my favourite cities and holds some great memories. We played at Kato on the 18th which was a cool little place under a train track.....good vibe in there and it sounded nice and loud. It was Mark's (Thunder's Tech) birthday so after the show the guys gave him his present we ventured off into the city. We went to some great bars and met some awesome people from all over the world. A special thanks (and apology) has gotta be given to the nice bar-girl that took me in after getting dettached from the pack, and for one by one as everyone found me, let us take over her bar.....we had fun.
We made it back to the bus just after sunrise and decided to go sightseeing. We were parked right next to the Berlin wall so checked it out, it was a sobering experience. There's a photo of it up in our gallery. A cool touch was out of all the thousands of writings on it Robbie stopped right next to one that read "Such Is Life".
That night we went to a punk bar to check out a band then set off for Hannover.
We had "pig" at a petrol station.
Hannover was cool, friendly crowd and a good stage. (Hi to the two women from Leicester). We were in a quiet area so after the gig we set off for Bochum to catch the end of the club there. Everyone was pretty fucked so MrRob, Pedro and I went in for a couple of drinks to wind down to some German industrial metal.
Thunder are soundchecking now so I'm gonna go get my stuff together.
I'll finish up later....
Sid

Day 3 - Feb 18th – services outside Berlin
..Last nights show was fucking ace, a step up from the first show in Belgium I think! same set as we played in Belgium which is working really well for us at the moment..Great crowd aswell, its nice to see a few Heaven's Basement T shirts in the audience! (also, thanks to Wendy for the beers, Babs for the drum stick sock!) You always know its a good show when everyone comes back into the dressing room pouring in sweat and totally fucked after the set.
We set off to Berlin after the show last night, it's a 9 hour drive so Rob and Pete cracked on through the night (excellent work lads!) We are just outside Berlin at the moment, we can't wait for our first ever gig in Germany tonight, the Kato is going to get fucking destroyed from us and the guys in Thunder..we have a day off tomorrow so also looking forward to havin a few beers with the guys tonight!!
..that's pretty much it for now, time to go find a shower! remember to keep a check on bitchinrockphotos.com for updates and live photos each day or so.

Day two!........Uden in Holland. Last nights show in Belgium was a blinder! To be honest, it couldn't really have gone any better for the first night of the tour. Great crowd, great sound, great lights. We were only supposed to play for half an hour but the set ran to 38 minutes, so we were told. The Thunder guys and crew are really cool though, they said we can go on a little earlier and play for longer if we want. This is the set we played.......
Tear Your Heart Out
Can't Let Go
Misunderstood
10 Minutes
Reign On My Parade
Mirrors
Executioners Day
The plan is to mix it up a bit every night and play different songs if we can (saying that, it did go pretty well so i reckon we'll do the same set tonight again and see how it goes). After we played we went and hung out with Pete and Mr. Rob at the merch stand and had a few drinks (Hoegarden was the order of the day!). We met loads of cool people and there was also quite a few familiar faces that we know from previous shows in the UK. It was good to see Wendy and Pascal again who we met on the tour with Wired Desire last december. Thankyou for my gift Pascal, i laughed for hours and then slept like a tree trunk! ;-)
After Thunder had played we went and chilled with them in their dressing room for a while, Ben was making us cocktails which went down a treat! We stayed at the venue for a couple of hours (they don't kick everyone out as soon as the gig has finished like they do in the UK which is a much better way of doing things!)....we left about 1ish i think and drove straight to tonights venue.....All in all, it was a pretty sweet first night, I can't wait to get onstage later!
One thing i noticed about Belgium is that all the toilets seem to be unisex, well the ones i went to anyway. Just an observation.....I'm getting called for soundcheck now so will report back tomorrow!

Current mood:Continental
First day of the tour.......we're in Vosselaar in Belguim today. We arrived here yesterday morning about 11 o'clock after travelling straight from ilkeston on saturday night (well done Mr. Rob and Pete!). There didn't seem to be much going on in the town so we just spent the whole day moving from bar to bar trying to find some life. We had drinks in various Belgian bars sampling the different beers and chatting to the locals (luckily everybody we met seemed pretty fluent in english). We ended the night at an irish bar in the square listening to Josh Homme, drinking guinness, smoking cigars and watching the united v derby game.........well we did stop off in one more bar on the way back to the bus but that was only because we were lost and thought another drink might help our sense of direction!
We're at the venue now setting up, getting ready for soundcheck. It's cool to see the thunder lads again, i definitely think this tour is going to be a great one, we've got a great set to play and can't wait to get up onstage and see what the european rock fans think of us. Over and out for now, we'll update you all again tomorrow and let you know how the first night went.

The countdown is coming..............
Hey everyone,How's it going? It's been a while since we last updated you all with a new song and blog so here it is!....anyone who has been to a gig in the past two months or so might recognize the song, its called 'No Pity' and has become one of our favorite songs to play live - enjoy!
We're having a day off today from our UK headline tour, just chilling out with a few beers and preparing for our last three gigs of 2008. It's been a fantastic year for us it's hard to know where to start!....by the time the tour ends on wednesday in London we will have played 96 shows since our debut show at the Sawyers in Kettering on April 5th! Those 96 shows for us will equal a good few thousand miles in travel, too many beers and not enough food (as many of you tell us!). We've been through enough guitar and bass strings to open a music store, a few trees worths of drum sticks and now have slightly more damaged ear drums! Highlights of the year include opening for Bon Jovi, the Thunder tour, our short but crazy trip to spain, playing the Bloodstock and Hard Rock Hell festivals aswell as the many headline club shows we've played up and down the country!
The current headline tour has been going great, all the venues are fucking freezing but we have really enjoyed being back in the clubs right on the back of the Thunder UK tour. Thanks to everyone who has come out to a show on this tour! We're having a killer time with our touring pals Wired Desire from sunny Glasgow, its a shame we only have 3 shows left! We have a few Englishman, a Welshman and a bunch of Scotsmen on the tour so if anyone knows an Irishman who wants to come along on the remaining dates then send them our way so we can complete the joke:).....also if anyone has missed a show on this tour just keep an eye out for HB and WD members at your local foam party ;).......don't forget our last 3 dates are at the Sheffield Corporation on 14th Dec, Birmingham Dragon Bar on 15th Dec and finally the Camden Barfly on the 17th Dec - hope to see you there!!
We got to give a special mention about the Thunder tour, without doubt one of highlights of the year! We were well pleased with the response and feedback we had from all the Thunder fans on the dates (so thanks to you all!) We collected lots of film footage from the tour so hopefully we'll be able to put something together for you in the near future! There are some great photos from the recent shows here www.bitchinrockphotos.com a massive thanks to Donna, Big Pete and the King of the road Mr. Rob (Cheers for all your help mate!)
We couldn't have wished for a better 2008, it blows our mind that its only a year ago since Heaven's Basement was born at Richies apartment and that our first show was only eight months ago!
We have exciting plans for 2009, we'll be heading to Italy for a tour in january which will be followed by a european tour as support to Thunder starting on the 16th Febuary. We will be visiting Germany, Belgium, Holland and Switzerland for the first time so we are really looking forward to it! We'll also be heading into the studio for some writing sessions on our return so look out for us hitting the road again in the UK from april onwards armed with new material and a new live show!

Thanks to everyone who has supported us through 2008, we have had some of the best times of our lives, we have played alongside some great bands, met lots of new friends and caught up with many old friends, we can't fucking wait to get stuck in again after the new year, apparently 2009 is the year of the Ox but we will have something to say about that..!!
Expect another new song to be uploaded as a xmas present for you all in the next week or so........have a great one!

There’s never been a better time..........
Hey guys,How are you all? We've had a really busy last couple of months so thought it was about time we filled you in on the latest Basement news and gave you a new song to listen to!
Since we last checked in we've been to Grimsby, Leicester, Wrexham, York, London, Devon, Southend, Brighton, Mexborough, Derby, Cambridge, Hastings and played at the Beached Festival in Scarborough and the Bloodstock Festival at Catton Hall too. We also had the pleasure of playing with Blind Melon at the LA2 in London a couple of weeks ago....All of those shows were awesome so a massive thankyou to everyone who came along to support us!
Inbetween the gigs, we've been in and out of the studio working on all the new songs we've written which we'll be playing a few of at the Metro Club in London next tuesday night. We're really looking forward to it, anyone who wants to get a ticket can follow this link
http://www.blowupmetro.com/bandinfo.aspx?id=080930g
or click the flyer on the site. It'll be well worth your while getting there early as Tequila Rockinbird and Wired Desire are both bands you'd be a mug to miss! Doors are at 7.30pm and we'll be onstage at 9.30pm....Judging by the messages you've sent us it looks like it's going to be a proper good night!
We also now have the online merch store up and running for anyone who wants a tshirt but hasn't made it to a gig recently.....there's a couple of different designs to choose from so go check them out here
http://www.backstreet-merch.com/bands/hvnbt/
they're printed on vintage wash tshirts so they look cool as fuck and girls look damn hot in them too! They'll also be onsale at all gigs from now on.........
Over the next couple of months we'll be back in the studio to finish off the next batch of songs and we'll be heading out on the road for the next leg of our gargantuan 2008 UK tour! Coming up are dates in Kettering, Glasgow, Dumfries, Fort William, Nottingham, Wrexham, Chester, Peterborough, Stafford and Grimsby. More details on tickets, stage times and directions can be found on the tour section of the myspace and the website.
.....then we'll be back out on the road with Thunder and Get Vegas for some monster gigs all around the UK. This is a tour we've been looking forward to for ages, it'll feel great to get back out on some big stages and tear it up! We're looking for some people to help us out with promotion at these shows.....so if you want to join our Street Team and help spread the word about Heaven's Basement, send us an email telling us your name, city or town you live in and we'll write back to you to explain everything.....here's the email address
streetteam@heavensbasement.com
we look forward to hearing from you!
Last but not least, we've uploaded a brand new track for you called 'Such Is Life' on the main page so go have a listen and let us know what you think!
Hope you're all doing mighty fine, we'll see you soon

DEC UK TOUR!
"It's apparent that the headliners are currently hot news as soon as we descend the stairs...it seems increasingly unlikely that this UK act are going to remain unsigned for long. If tonight's reaction is anything to go by, the band have a bright future ahead" - live review
"This test-the-water six-tracker finds the band stoked up, aggressive as marooned dogs and imbued with the same brand of fiery melodies that got us all excited about them in the first place. Hopefully these richly deserving young bloods playing caustic hard rock will get their due reward" - e.p review
"Heaven's Basement play as if their lives depend on it. They should already be a big name - bristling riffs and jagged, riotous hooks are their poison and exceptional is not too strong a word. They shoot their songs out like desperate, last gasp bullets and leave this tiny stage to a deservedly disproportionate ovation" - live review
"The Venue's packed. Attractive girls, old-school rockers, new-era wannabe rock stars, all hoping that Heaven's Basement will be the real deal, rather than papier-mache heroes who'll crumble under the pressure of expectation. Thankfully the band deliver. The best british band of this type...Heaven's Basement have the potential to match their ambition"
- live review
"With appreciation for the music from our rock legends, these talented musicians are writing their own chapter in the "THE BOOK OF ROCK". Not retro nor alternative...a sound that grabs you by the throat and will leave your senses rocked for days! A sound simply titled HEAVEN'S BASEMENT! Believe all you have heard, read and seen about this band. These rockers from the UK are BADD ASS!" - The Atomic Chaser, THE DRP/All Access Magazine (Los Angeles, CA)
